Liaoning

Liaoning province, in a temperate zone, is the southernmost of the three provinces in Northeast China. It adjoins Jilin and Hebei provinces and Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and is bordered along the Yalu River by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). Covering an area of 148,000 square kilometers, the province has the largest provincial economy in Northeast China.
​The State Council Information Office held a press conference on April 23 in Beijing to brief the media on writing a new chapter in Liaoning's full revitalization with greater responsibilities and efforts.
​The State Council released the overall planning of the China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone on March 31, 2017.
Shenyang Imperial Palace, built between 1625 and 1636, is the former imperial palace of the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). It is located in the downtown Shenhe District of Shenyang in northeastern China's Liaoning province.
​The Three Mausoleums of Shengjing refer to the Fuling, Zhaoling and Yongling Mausoleums, the three royal mausoleums of the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).
​The Shenyang Botanical Garden, located about 10 kilometers (6.21 miles) away from the city center of Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, was the site of the International Horticultural Exposition 2006.
​Situated in the central part of the southern seashore of Dalian city, the Tiger Beach Ocean Park, or Laohutan Ocean Park, is the first oceanic theme park in China, covering a total area of 1,180,000 square meters.
​Located on the Taizi River bank, 26 kilometers from the eastern suburb of Benxi city, the Benxi Water Caves are large-scale underground river karst caves that were formed millions of years ago.
​Qianshan, or One Thousand Mountain, is a mountainous national park, 17 kilometers southeast of Anshan city, and covers an area of 44 square kilometers. It has a total of 999 peaks, hence its name.
​Located on the mountain north of Huanren Town in Huanren Manchu autonomous county, the Wunvshan Mountain city is a well-preserved site of historical and cultural significance.
