Hubei, as one of the major provinces of Sports in China , of which the
competitive sports has developed vigorously, and Hubei athletes have
achieved great success in a variety of sports, such as gymnastics,
diving, weightlifting, swimming, badminton, and tennis.
Situated in South-central China, Hubei Province features a subtropical
monsoon climate. The average temperature for a year is about 15° C (59°
F).
In 2022, the added value of farming, forestry, animal husbandry and
fishery of Hubei Province stood at 532.187 billion yuan, an increase
of 4.3 percent over the previous year.
According to preliminary calculations, Hubei's GDP in 2022 reached
5,373.492 billion yuan, a year-on-year growth of 4.3 percent.
