By the end of 2022, there were 17,525 industrial enterprises above designated size in Hubei Province. The province's industrial added value above designated size rose by 7.0 percent throughout the year.

The added value of high-tech manufacturing sector increased by 21.7 percent, 14.7 percentage points faster than that of the industries above designated scale. Among them, computer, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industries increased by 26.2 percent.

In 2022, the sales output value of industries above designated size expanded by 8.0 percent. The rate of product sale stood at 95.5 percent. The industrial enterprises above designated size achieved a profit of 313.964 billion yuan, a decrease of 2.4 percent.
