The 15th Bird's Nest Happy Ice and Snow Season officially launched Saturday at the National Stadium in Beijing, transforming the landmark venue into a winter playground.

This year's event, spanning 40,000 square meters, is divided into two major sections designed to appeal to all ages.

In the outdoor field, visitors can experience high-energy thrills, including a massive 4,800-square-meter snow drifting zone with 50-meter-long sledding runs. Meanwhile, the central area of the Bird's Nest offers family-friendly leisure activities, such as ice bumper cars and a large-scale inflatable park.

Since it began in 2009, the festival has grown into a highly popular event for visitors in Beijing during the winter season, attracting more than 2.53 million guests across its previous 14 editions.

For this milestone 15th edition, organizers have introduced an all-inclusive ticket policy, with one pass granting unlimited access to all activities.

The season is scheduled to run through late February 2026, covering major holidays like New Year's Day and the Spring Festival.
