The campaign, part of the Qianmen Flavors of China event series, features cuisine from Linqing, a county-level city within Liaocheng, along with its agricultural tourism offerings and premium specialty products. Organizers said the comprehensive presentation enables attendees to experience both the charm and contemporary appeal of Liaocheng's local culture.

At the opening ceremony, Linqing city and Beijing Qianmen Culture and Tourism Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to jointly develop culinary programs, cultural events and business forums in the capital. These initiatives will allow tourists from around the world to experience Linqing's cuisine while also enabling visitors and entrepreneurs in Beijing to learn about Liaocheng, discover Linqing, and explore business cooperation opportunities.

The exhibition runs through Oct. 31 at various locations along Qianmen Street. Throughout this period, Liaocheng specialty snacks, intangible cultural heritage products, local specialties and traditional Chinese medicine items will be on display for Beijing residents and visitors.

The showcase marks Liaocheng's push to reach new markets in Beijing. Organizers said the event leverages Qianmen Street's status as a cultural tourism landmark with more than 100,000 daily visitors to connect Liaocheng businesses with Beijing consumers and industrial resources.

The event was guided by the comprehensive management department for Beijing offices of provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions under the National Government Offices Administration, and hosted by the Shandong Provincial Government Office in Beijing and the Liaocheng local government.

The organizers stated the event supports China's national strategy to expand domestic demand and boost consumption while strengthening Liaocheng's ties with the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. The event showcases Liaocheng's integration of its cultural, commercial, agricultural and tourism sectors.

Through this initiative, Liaocheng seeks to build long-term partnerships beyond short-term visitor attraction. The event invites both Beijing residents to experience the city's scenery, cuisine and culture, while encouraging entrepreneurs and investors to explore cooperation opportunities.
