Kunming High-tech Industrial Development Zone

Kunming High-tech Industrial Development Zone (the "industrial development zone") was one of 53 national high-tech industrial development areas approved by the State Council in 1992. 

It covers an area of 11.5 square kilometers and is comprised of Liangjiahe New Area, Jinding Science Park, Science Street and Private Science Park. It has made a sound improvement in its investment environment and further consolidated its development strength over recent decades.

The industrial development zone was designated as one of the second group of China's national green industrial parks and as one of Yunnan's first provincial new-type industrialized demonstration bases for biomedicine and manufacturing equipment in 2019.
