Set in 2058, Han Yan's sci-fi adventure "Per Aspera Ad Astra" follows the crew of a starship whose "Sweet Dreams LM" virtual dream system malfunctions during an interstellar voyage, trapping them in customized dream worlds as the vessel drifts off course. Administrator Biao Ge (Wang Hedi) and Captain Si Meng (Victoria Song) awaken technician Lao Bai (Zu Feng) and software engineer Ge Yang (Wang Duo) to uncover the truth behind the collapse before sweet dreams turn into nightmares. Layers of suspense make this space dream adventure a thrilling ride. The film demonstrates a strong commitment to sci-fi craftsmanship, delivering near-future interstellar exploration with top-tier production values. Hardcore visual effects combine with wildly imaginative concepts to construct a fresh and original sci-fi universe. Dubbed a feel-good blockbuster for young audiences this Spring Festival, the film blends stunning visuals with a breezy, game-like narrative guided by the principle of "no preaching, no melodrama, no worries." Distributors are also planning foreign releases in countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Germany in March, as well as on Netflix in summer.
