Climate

Qinghai climate belongs to plateau continental climate, with low temperatures, a large temperature difference between day and night, less but concentrated rainfall, long sunshine and strong solar radiation. Its annual average temperature is about 2 ℃ to 9 ℃; its duration of frost-free period is about 100 to 200 days; its annual rainfall is about 250mm to 550mm, mainly concentrate on July to September.
