Jinan's GDP exceeded 1.35 trillion yuan ($185.3 billion) in 2024, according to the city's bureau of statistics.

The added value of Jinan's primary, secondary and tertiary industries hit 44 billion yuan, 451.9 billion yuan, and 856.84 billion yuan respectively in 2024, a year-on-year increase of 3.6 percent, 5.8 percent, and 5.2 percent.
