China proposes two-step development goals for ice and snow economy

China recently released a guideline on promoting the winter sports industry and ice and snow tourism. It targets a market value of 1.5 trillion yuan (approximately US$211 billion) by 2030 for the entire ice and snow economy, according to a press conference Wednesday.
