China's retail sales of consumer goods up 2.7% in July 2024

China's retail sales of consumer goods grew by 2.7% year on year to reach around 3.78 trillion yuan (US$528.82 billion) in July 2024, 0.7 percentage point higher than the previous month, a spokesperson of the National Bureau of Statistics said Thursday.
