China's industrial output grows 6.1% in Q1 2024

China's GDP growth in the first quarter of 2024 was largely driven by industry and services, Sheng Laiyun, deputy commissioner of the National Bureau of Statistics, said at a press conference Tuesday. In Q1, the value added of China's industrial enterprises above designated size grew 6.1% year on year, contributing 37.3% to GDP growth.
