Retail sales of services up 20.3% in Jan-July 2023

China's retail sales of services surged 20.3% year on year in the first seven months of 2023, according to first-time data released Tuesday by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Specifically, retail sales in transportation and hospitality rose rapidly due to summer tourism, NBS spokesperson Fu Linghui said.
