The fair also included an international section where overseas vendors introduced products such as Sri Lankan tea, Nepalese handicrafts and Russian chocolates. Foreign visitors were out in force too — some in pairs or small groups, others as extended families spanning three generations, pushing strollers as they explored the grounds together.

Visiting temple fairs during the first month of the Chinese lunisolar calendar remains a long-standing Spring Festival tradition for Chinese families and is increasingly embraced by foreign visitors.

The 38th Ditan Park Temple Fair concluded on Feb. 23, with the park closing briefly for dismantling before resuming regular operations on Feb. 26.
