Beijing exhibition honors Chinese literary giant Mao Dun at 130

Editor's note: A special exhibition commemorating the 130th anniversary of the birth of renowned Chinese writer Mao Dun recently opened at the National Museum of Modern Chinese Literature in Beijing.

Featuring more than 200 exhibits, including manuscripts, first editions, letters, photographs and personal belongings, the exhibition offers a comprehensive look at Mao's life, literary achievements and enduring legacy.

The exhibition runs through July 4, 2027. A touring edition is scheduled to open in late July in Wuzhen, Tongxiang, Zhejiang province, Mao's hometown.
