At the expo, northwest Beijing's Yanqing District highlighted its three "golden name cards" – the Great Wall, the Beijing Expo Park, and the Winter Olympics – creating an immersive cultural tourism experience for visitors.
The Yanqing exhibition area features three functional zones including "Winter Olympics City • Amidst Mountains and Waters," "Cultural & Creative Hub • Specialty Souvenirs," and "Stay in Yanqing • Quality Lodging."

An intangible cultural heritage (ICH) interactive zone and a live promotion area are open simultaneously. ICH activities including rubbing, gourd pyrography, and paper-cutting are offered daily, with inheritors providing on-site instruction, allowing visitors to take home their own handmade pieces.
In addition, the Yanqing booth presented special excerpts from the live-action performance Dream of the Great Wall, including "A Misty Rain" and "Moonlit Shadow." Core scenic spots such as Badaling Great Wall, Beijing Expo Park, Longqing Gorge, and Yudu Mountain, as well as Winter Olympics heritage sites like the Crown Hotel and the National Alpine Skiing Center, were also promoted on site.
As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, Yanqing also released its holiday event preview. From June 19 to 21, the 18th Beijing Dragon Boat Culture Festival will be held at the Beijing Expo Park, featuring five major sections including land dragon boat races, ICH workshops, and traditional costume parades. Wild Duck Lake, Longqing Gorge, and Yudu Mountain will host traditional Chinese music concerts; towns such as Zhangshanying, Yongning, and Jingzhuang will offer folk experience activities like sachet making and zongzi (sticky rice dumpling) wrapping, allowing tourists to enjoy the traditional charm of the Dragon Boat Festival amidst natural landscapes.
