Editors' personal picks take center stage at Beijing book exhibit

Editor's note: The exhibition "I Prefer: Editors' Picks for Books of the Year" is currently showing in Beijing. It offers a unique perspective on literature by displaying the books selected not for their commercial success, but for the personal endorsement of 179 editors in 2025. 

Each featured title is presented alongside the editor's handwritten notes and draft materials. It turns the often-hidden stories behind a book's creation into a central part of the viewing experience.
