The Yunju (or Cloud Dwelling) Temple complex sits on Shijing Mountain in Beijing's Fangshan district. It houses more than 30,000 scripture-related relics, including stone, paper and wooden scriptures of significant historical, cultural, artistic and academic value. First built in the Sui dynasty (581-618), the complex draws large crowds who come to appreciate the enduring cultural heritage and profound history of the site. [Photo by Wang Yanfang/China.org.cn]
