An art exhibition exploring aging and intergenerational care through the lens of Chinese and European artists opened at the Danish Cultural Center on Sept. 27 and runs through Nov. 15.
"Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night" features works by Li Lang, Li Wei and Liang Chen, Pu Xiaoyue, Ines Doujak and others. The pieces examine aging from personal and social perspectives through oral histories, family photographs and portraits alongside performance and installation works.
The exhibition is part of the center's"Ageing Together - Voices Across Time" program, organized in collaboration with EUNIC China, a network of European cultural institutes in China.
Accompanying events include film screenings, roundtable discussions and hand-coloring workshops designed to dismantle ageist stereotypes and spark dialogue about eldercare policies across cultures.
