The National Art Museum of China and China Calligraphers Association are holding a calligraphy exhibition in Beijing from Oct. 11-22, showcasing works by Chinese female calligraphers.
The exhibition runs in conjunction with the Global Summit of Women in Beijing on Oct. 13-14, with both events focusing on women's development.
Featuring 100 calligraphers of varying ages, the exhibition showcases works that reflect both the artists' personal perspectives and the evolution of Chinese calligraphic traditions.
Pieces on display feature diverse themes, aesthetic choices and handwriting styles, representing contemporary achievements in Chinese female calligraphy.
