'Tom and Jerry' meet Chinese mythology in new animated adventure

Chinese animators partnered with Warner Bros. to create "Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass," the first fully computer-animated feature of the franchise set in China. China.org.cn spoke with director Zhang Gang and producer Yang Shaojing about the production and its cultural fusion.
